1. Ulos Ragidup
Ulos type whose value is highest as a way of making it more difficult than other types Ulos. Ulos length is usually about eight feet by five feet wide. 3. Ulos Sibolang
Ulos type is used in ceremonies or rites of mourning the death of a husband. Ulos Sibolang shaped shawl given to wives whose husbands have died, as a symbol that the status has changed.
In the Batak who follows patrilineal lineage system, the term marriage levirat. Ie, if a woman has left her husband dead, the woman is expected to marry the husband's brother or sister.
Ulos Sibolang was featured in a dark background such as dark blue, and ikat lungsi patterned are marked in light blue.
4. Ulos Ragihotang
